My wife and I have a lot of things in common and one of them is how we can enjoy a date without spending a lot. Tonight, we decided to go to the Pike in Long Beach. All we did was walk down the beach for a couple of hours and went through the different stores in there.

Initially, my wife wanted to go to Laguna Beach just to see the sunset. However, we were already leaving our home so late and Laguna Beach is 45 miles and it would take us at least 45 minutes to get there. So we decided just to go to the nearest beach, which is Long Beach. The beach is only fifteen minutes away from our home. Our expense for that walk is pretty much just parking and gas.

I normally take my car for small trips like this but we usually rent a car when we are going to long trips. My car is already 12 years old but it still runs pretty good. Just keeping up with the maintenance really helps prolong the life of my car. It did not have fancy car spoilers
but it does serves its purpose, which is to take us from point A to point B.
