My wife and I are still contemplating if we should go to Las Vegas to celebrate the days before New Year. We were kind of waiting for one of our friends if they are going to Las Vegas as well. Trying to find a cheap Las Vegas hotel is a little harder but discounts or any specials do exist if you know where to look. I am pretty sure that it will be super crowded this Christmas and New Year. One thing that I hate about going during the holiday is that the length of time of the trip is doubled because of traffic. A four hour drive from Los Angeles to Las Vegas becomes an eight hour drive or sometimes even longer. It is just too stressful. So for you to enjoy your vacation, you would probably need to stay longer than just the weekends, and leave right before everybody else leaves!
