Summer is almost over and for most colleges, Fall semester has already started. Mostly, community colleges have already started their classes and my wife will be enrolling this semester. We are planning on going on vacation for a short weekend getaway. Nope, we are not one of those couples who like to go on luxury vacations , especially with the slowing economy. We want to enjoy our vacation but would like to spend less on it. My wife’s birthday came up but we did not go anywhere because it was in the middle of the week. Besides, we will be going this Labor Day weekend so we want to save as much money as we can.

This would be a good treat for us since last year we when to Santa Barbara on her birthday. So we do not want to miss any happening this year. Actually, we are planning on going along with some of our friends.

Anyways, the choices would be Las Vegas, San Francisco, Santa Catalina, San Juan Capistrano ( the mission) and perhaps Santa Barbara again.
