Aside from the house that I co-owned with my parents, my wife and I bought a vacant land in Pahrump. The town is located 60 miles northwest of Las Vegas, the entertainment capital of the world, The lot is zoned so we can build a duplex in the future. Not that I want to buy a home in Vegas but the reason why I’m looking for Las Vegas homes for sale is that so I can check the market in Pahrump as well. For quite some time, Pahrump enjoyed the “spillover” effect of the Las Vegas real estate boom. Because of the high prices of home in Las Vegas, people have considered buying a house in Pahrump and considered commuting.

I like the weather in Pahrump and the fact that the town has its own water. The houses and lots are a lot bigger than the ones in Las Vegas. Also, Pahrump boast the only winery in Nevada!! One builder magazine has considered the town as the fastest growing town in America!! Because of this, I knew that I made a great investment!!
