Personal Finance, Bargains/Deals and My Misc Ramblings
As indicated in my”About” page, I will also keep track of my debts on this blog. Our credit cards debt have been kept to a minimum so I won’t be mentioning it a lot. One of my goals with blogging is to generate income so that it would not only cover the expenses for running this website but also covers two of my biggest long-term loans: the student loan and the vacant lot loan. As of now, paying this off will take a few years so my goal is to at least cover the monthly payments for those two. So how am I doing right now?
The monthly payment for my student loan is $191 and for the vacant lot is $509. So that means I have to earn $700 from blogging to cover this. Well, this month, I’m off to a good start. My advertising revenues already reached $120 for the first 15 days. So if I continue the same pace it will cover my monthly blogging expenses and the payment for the student loan. Not bad at all. So the next goal, hopefully by the end of the year, that my average advertising revenues would hit the $760 per month.
