Personal Finance, Bargains/Deals and My Misc Ramblings
My sister is pregnant and she will be due in a few months. This will be her fourth child. She currently has two boys and one girl and the doctor said that this baby will be a girl. As much as my sister wants to purchase new baby clothes , it is really not wise to buy a lot of them. She can still use the old clothing that her second child used since they are still fairly new. The first girl did not really use them for so long. Yap, I know what you’re thinking, poor second girl, but if you think about it, this would be a very good decision in saving money with clothing today. With the bad economy and high cost of living, you can save the money so you can purchase better ones in the future for the child. My sister does not work so they only have a single earner in the family. So it would be really tough for them. Every single penny helps.
Anyways, there are also a lot of programs that mothers can do to help them save money on the milk. Here in Los Angeles, there is a WIC program for low income earners where mothers can get free or discounted milk for their kids.

I’m surprised your sister isn’t on board with the used baby clothes idea. I’ve got three kids and after the first, we realized how quickly they grow out of all of the cute outfits. Sure, have some nice, new ones, but for every day wear, there is nothing wrong with well kept second hand stuff.
