Personal Finance, Bargains/Deals and My Misc Ramblings
When you are in a major city like Los Angeles, and you like all the major sports, how do you budget your entertainment expenses? As much as I want to watch my favorite sports team live, I just couldn’t go to any of them without putting a big dent in my budget. I love watching basketball (Lakers, UCLA), football (College and the NFL), and hockey. But the price tag for watching all of them live has really gone up especially if the teams are winning. I like the fact that I have a very good view of the games at the comfort of my living room. Plus if the games turn out to be lopsided, I can watch a different game.
This coming baseball playoffs, world series tickets will sell at a premium that would add hit your pocket bigtime. There are so many scalpers that bought the tickets first and will auction them to online auctions such as ebay and stubhub. For those hardcore fanatics, they wouldn’t mind paying that stiff price. As for me, I can buy something else with a $2,000 ticket and I’ll just watch the game on TV.
