Personal Finance, Bargains/Deals and My Misc Ramblings
With the high cost of gas these days, I’ve been increasing my walk to work. The price of gas has hit the $4.00 per gallon threshold in some areas. The Chevron station right at the corner of our street is at $3.59 for the regular unleaded and $3.89 for the premium unleaded.
I only live two blocks away from work so walking to work does two things for me: it helps me save money on gas and also keeps me healthy. I do not need to buy expensive exercise equipment or sign-up to one of those fitness clubs.
So far, we are traveling a lot the past couple of months and the gas cost was $80 in the month of January and $150 for February. However, this month we have not spend a dime in gas (other than the trip in Las Vegas) and my car has half tank of gas in there. Hopefully this month, it would only cost me $50 for my gas cost. For some people, that’s how much they spend in gas for just one week
