The California Association of Realtors has recently announced that real estate sales would drop by 23% in 2007 and will drop 9% more in 2008. In addition, sellers are now getting picky when selecting a real estate agent. Gone are those days where homes are selling minutes after they were listed on mls. Gone are those days where agents don’t really have to be experienced because homes are selling by themselves. Real estate agents need to be ethical and better that others to win the business of more sellers.

The median income here in Southern California has remain stagnant while the price of the homes skyrocketed. The affordability is still the main concern that’s why I truly believe that the real estate market will be down for a couple more years before it business starts to pick up.
