This is an inside joke that we have been telling our friends. When one of our classmates from the Philippines came over here for a vacation, they stayed at our place for two weeks after spending two weeks in Florida enjoying their Orlando vacations trip. They went to Disney World and they said that they still need more time to take a tour of the whole thing. When they came here in Los Angeles, we took them to various places such as San Francisco and Las Vegas. We went to see the Golden Gate bridge, the Fishermans Wharf and the Alcatraz. For the most part, “the tourists are the ones who are not paying for the trip,” it is us who are based here in the United States that are paying for the expenses such as the gasoline, the food, shelter and hotel lodging.

So it has been a motto that whoever is the tourist, they should get a freebie. Of course, we are just kidding around, these tourists also paid for some of the stuff especially their shopping expenses.
