Personal Finance, Bargains/Deals and My Misc Ramblings
Part of being frugal has been cutting down on entertainment expense. That means waiting for the movies to go on DVD and either renting it or buying it. We have bought a few good DVD’s at Costco and the DVD’s are a package of 2 for just $10.99. The most recent movies that we bought are “Breach” and “The Good Shepherd.” Sometimes we buy them once we’ve rented and found out that they are good. This has really cut down our entertainment cost without sacrificing entertainment.
Anyways, this weekend we are suppose to treat ourselves in a movie theatre at Universal Studio. We want to watch a movie at I-max but it turns out that the Universal Studio is close for the day because a fire broke out in one of the backlot studio at 5 o’clock this morning. There are a lot of plastic that are burning so it is really toxic out there. Fire Department is suggesting that the residents nearby should close their doors and windows and also use air purifiers like Austin Air air purifiers to avoid inhaling those toxic fumes.
Anyways, we plan on watching the movie here instead. We can still save money by purchasing the tickets at Costco. The prices are really good because the tickets are priced at a morning show.
